Case Study: Cap table snapshots sealed the deal for Trello

In early 2017, Atlassian announced it would be acquiring Trello for $425 million. The months of negotiating and due diligence was aided by Trello’s reliance on Carta. In the platform Trello could pull historical snapshots of their cap table on any date. Their cap table was always up to date and organized, a huge advantage during an acquisition.
