Share compensation bands with your clients with Carta Total Comp

We’ve released an exciting new feature to the Carta Total Comp product that will allow you to easily share compensation data with your clients. Through this new feature, you will be able to pull salary and equity benchmarks for a specific role, level, and region, and then email that information to any recipient directly from the Carta platform. Our benchmarks are built based on aggregated and anonymized dynamic compensation data from the more than 23k companies on the Carta platform and additional external sources.

Next time your client asks you how much they should pay their employees, you will easily be able to provide them with actionable recommendations! | Learn more

Law Firm Direct Access

Thanks to feedback from partners like you, we’ve streamlined the process for law firm users to onboard their clients onto a Carta paid plan. Previously, law firm users were only able to directly add companies to the free Carta Launch plan (for companies with <$1M in funding, or <25 equity-holders). Now, law firm users will have the option to directly onboard any company at any stage in their life cycle. If your client is over the Launch threshold, they will be prompted to enter payment information when confirming their account. | Learn more

QSBS Eligibility for Carta 409A customers

Now, all Carta 409A customers including company admins, investors, and employees will be assessed for preferential tax treatment under the IRS Qualified Small Business Stock provision. Many stockholders on Carta are eligible for preferential tax treatment under QSBS, but without expert advice, it’s impossible to know if they qualify. Carta now notifies stockholders if they may be eligible, now or in the future, to pay zero capital gains on their stock, empowering stockholders to make more informed decisions about their ownership. | Learn more

Investor-Led SAFEs

Following the rapid adoption of Carta’s automated SAFE financings feature for companies, we’re launching a new Investor-led SAFEs product aimed at helping investors save time and overhead while building their consolidated portfolio on Carta. The new automated workflow will allow investors to initiate new SAFE investments all in one place, where you can track statuses, collect company data, and more.
