What it is
Compensation benchmarks are now open as a live artifact in Cowork. Adjust the role, seniority level, IC or manager track, or location and salary, total cash, and equity benchmarks updates instantly. Add rows to compare multiple roles side by side; switch between dollar value, percent of company, or share count for equity; and export a spreadsheet of what you're seeing.
Why it matters
With this release, HR and comp teams can price a role or check a location adjustment without leaving Claude or retyping a prompt from scratch. Comparing several roles side by side, and toggling how equity is shown, makes it easy to test different offer structures and back up compensation decisions with current market data.
How it works
Compensation benchmarks are open to all customers with an active Carta Total Compensation subscription, using the Cap Table Plugin in Claude.
