Generate custom equity reports with Carta’s Cap Table Plugin in Claude. Use natural language to filter and compute 18+ report types instantly.

What's new

Extensive custom reporting is now available to all Cap Table Plugin users in Claude. Use natural language to create, filter and compute 18 different equity report types—including cap table, options outstanding, vesting details, and securities ledger—based on your full cap table dataset.

Why it matters

Many companies have nuanced ways of viewing and analyzing their data that static, pre-built reports can't satisfy. Admins want to filter cap table data with complex logic, pull calculated fields like fully diluted ownership, and export structured equity data—without filing a one-off report request with the Carta team. This release empowers users to build, edit and analyse custom cap table reports themselves, directly in Claude.

How it works

Custom reporting is available to all Carta cap table admins using the Cap Table Plugin in Claude. Simply fire up Claude and ask it to build a report. View the output as an interactive table in Claude Cowork that you can search or modify before exporting. Combine Carta data with external sources for additional analysis by uploading a PDF, spreadsheet, or pasting in data. When you’re ready to export, download the report as an Excel file, with all sheets and any external data folded into a single file.
