No. A connector gives Claude access to a data source through MCP. A plugin is what Carta builds on top: your firm's fund logic, encoded as skills Claude runs against that data.

Claude accesses Carta through the same permissions your firm already maintains in the Carta app. If someone can't see or do something in Carta, they can't see or do it through Claude either.
