What it is
Available from the Carta dashboard, the Financial Reporting Tracker lists every entity that has an upcoming reporting package. You can sort or filter by entity type, deadline, or open tasks. Add information to reconcile transactions, approve or update valuations, and then review, approve, and share financial packages. Within a package review, GPs can leave anchored comments directly on the document. Comments are visible to all GPs, and multiple GPs can comment at the same time. Comment resolutions appear alongside the updated financials.
Why it matters
For fund CFOs and GPs managing quarterly reporting across multiple entities, every obligation is visible in one place. When GPs review a package, the conversation lives on the document, with every comment, resolution, and updated draft visible in context and no separate email thread.
