Carta's LPPA lets portfolio managers set custom exposure limits per user and portfolio, flagging metrics that exceed a defined threshold.

What it is

You can now set your own exposure limits in LP Portfolio Analytics (LPPA), configured per user and per portfolio. When an exposure metric exceeds a limit you've defined, it's flagged in the entity map.

Why it matters

For portfolio managers monitoring concentration risk, the entity map surfaces where your portfolio is running past your thresholds. You set the limits that matter for your portfolio program, and the entity map flags anything that exceeds them.

How it works

You can set limits for metrics including NAV, capital contributions, and total commitment using the dimensions LPPA already tracks: currency, geographic focus, strategy, GP, sector, and vintage year.
