Trace every capital call, distribution, and LP payment back to journal entries, and benchmark LP returns against percentile cohorts.

All your fund’s past and present capital activity data is now in the Data Warehouse and queryable through the Carta Investors Plugin for Claude, so you can build historical capital call reports, monitor LP payment timeliness, or trace distributions back to the books without manual exports.

Trace every capital call and distribution back to the books

Three new tables expose capital activity at every altitude.

Capital Activities gives you fund-level history of every call and distribution.

Capital Activity Partners breaks down each event by LP for payment monitoring and timeliness analysis.

Capital Activity Row Journal Entries links each partner's activity to underlying accounting entries, letting your team trace any LP payment back to the books.

Introducing LP-level benchmarks

The Q1 2026 data refresh adds LP-side percentile benchmarks for DPI, TVPI, and Net IRR. For the first time, fund managers and LPs can compare returns at the partner level against a p5–p95 cohort. Previously, benchmarks stopped at total-fund and GP rollups, leaving partner performance impossible to contextualize. All benchmarks roll through to March 31, 2026, and are queryable through the Investors Plugin or your Data Warehouse connection.
