Carta's Investors Plugin now includes an SPA Audit Skill that classifies every portfolio company by SPA coverage status and ranks gaps by cost basis.

What it is

The skill gives you a dedicated view to identify gaps, classifying every portfolio company into four buckets: no SPA on file, SPA not yet executed, SPA fully executed, and no SPA needed. Filter, sort, and search by SPA status, first invested date, cost basis, or SOI valuation. Click into any company to see the full document and the purchaser breakdown extracted from the SPA.

Why it matters

Fund CFOs and GPs can see exactly where SPAs are missing or unexecuted, before an audit or when running co-investor analysis. The coverage bar toggles between cost basis weighting and company count, so you can frame the same exposure two ways.

How it works

Available in the Carta Investors Plugin to firms that have at least one SPA in Carta. You can upload a missing SPA or attach a signed copy of an unexecuted one directly from the company view.
