Fund ERP

This is Capital Calls, part of fund administration in Carta's connected ERP for private capital. Executing a capital call is a complex process, from calculating contributions and issuing notices to LPs, to tracking payments. With Carta, you can manage the entire workflow on one platform. Here's how it works. Use the Call Capital button under Quick Actions on your dashboard to get started, from there, selecting the entity. Choose from common capital call types or set up a custom configuration. Next, choose the amount due, parameters, and participants for your cap call. In-built health checks will run in the background to ensure your capital call is compliant and in line with the terms of your LPA. You'll see the total amount due from each participating investor and confirm your wire instructions before issuing the capital call notice. You'll also be able to preview the notice that each investor will receive by email before submitting the capital call. Once the capital call is sent, it will be booked as a journal entry on the general ledger, dated to when the capital is due. No manual updates needed. Only the Carta ERP brings all of this into the same system of record. This is just one example of how we're building out an ERP for private capital.
