Carta’s AMM now supports capital calls, giving GPs real-time payment updates, secure reconciliation, and transparent tracking for contributions.

Managing capital calls manually can be time-consuming and error-prone. Carta’s automated money movement now supports contributions, giving GPs greater visibility into who has paid and when—without leaving the platform.

In addition to expenses and management fees, you can now automate contributions from LPs, with distributions coming soon. Every transaction is tracked, reconciled, and documented to simplify financial reporting and enhance transparency for both GPs and LPs.

How it works

  • Virtual accounts assigned: Unique virtual account numbers are sent to partners so we can accurately reconcile their contribution. Wires remain the same through the fund’s lifecycle.

  • Payments tracked and confirmed: Payments are sent to your account at the speed of a wire and attributed to specific partners. Funds will pass through our banking partner’s account for the benefit of (FBO) your entity.

  • Email receipts: We’ll provide you with daily email summaries of payment statuses, and immediate email receipts to your partners. Automated Money Movement complies with standard auditor requirements.

Why this matters:

Capital calls often involve fragmented communication, delayed confirmations, and manual tracking. With automated money movement, you get:

  • Greater oversight and control

  • Faster, more reliable reconciliation

  • Real-time transparency for LPs and auditors alike

Moving money is now easier, more secure, and better aligned with how modern funds operate.
