MML Capital is a UK-based private equity firm specializing in mid-market investments. With a partnership-led approach, MML backs ambitious management teams across Europe and the U.S. to accelerate growth and deliver long-term value.
The firm takes a flexible investment approach, combining capital with strategic support to help businesses scale.
MML Capital Partners previously used Zapflow as its CRM but faced low adoption across the team. This limited its ability to consistently track live and upcoming opportunities, relationships and engagement with M&A advisors and coordinate fundraising activities effectively.
MML switched to Carta Deal CRM, rolling it out across deal teams, origination, and investor relations functions in multiple offices. As part of the implementation, Carta developed a custom-built M&A fee tracking module tailored specifically to MML’s requirements, enabling more consistent and accurate tracking of advisor-related costs across deals.
In addition, a custom advisor tracking view was built, allowing MML to see all key relationship data—including interaction history, internal notes, and associated fees—in a single, centralized interface.
These enhancements gave MML greater visibility and control over its advisor network and improved accountability across teams.
