What it is
Carta's Cap Table Plugin can turn a plain-language prompt, such as "Issue 1,000 ISOs to Jane Smith," into a complete draft grant or certificate. It pre-fills vesting, exercise price, and board approval from your company's own data, creating the stakeholder record if one doesn't exist yet.
Why it matters
Company admins issuing equity to new hires or investors can skip the manual data entry that usually comes with drafting a grant. The skill handles batch issuance and name-filtered stakeholder lookups for large grants, and it can read input directly from an attached screenshot, board consent, or spreadsheet, so admins don't have to retype terms that are already documented elsewhere.
The source document is also saved to the company's Document Library when you commit the issuance. Anyone reviewing it later can open the exact file it was based on.
How it works
All option grant types are supported, including Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI), Unapproved, and international grants. LLCs on Carta Core can also issue PIUs in Claude.
The document saves when you click "Save as draft" or "Review and issue." If you close without committing, nothing is added to Carta.
