What it is
Carta's Cap Table Plugin can turn a plain-language prompt, such as “Issue 1,000 ISOs to Jane Smith,” into a complete draft grant or certificate. It pre-fills vesting, exercise price, and board approval from your company’s own data, creating the stakeholder record if one doesn’t exist yet.
Why it matters
Company admins issuing equity to new hires or investors can skip the manual data entry that usually comes with drafting a grant. The skill handles batch issuance and name-filtered stakeholder lookups for large grants, and it can read input directly from an attached screenshot, board consent, or spreadsheet, so admins don’t have to retype terms that are already documented elsewhere.
