Carta + Claude

Carta Home is a live artifact that serves as your home base for fund data, performance data, and the latest updates from the Carta Investors plug in. Two of the things it displays are active capital calls and distributions. In this example, you can see which partners are involved, whether they've paid or not paid, and you can send out reminders from here. You can craft and preview the reminder message, and send it out directly to that partner without ever having to go to the Carta desktop app.

Carta Home also features pre built dashboards like the SOI. You can choose to see your full firm's SOI, or filter it to show specific funds only. There's also a dashboard showing performance metrics across all funds, with a fund specific view also available. For a deeper dive into that particular fund, I can see metrics like the size of the fund, dry powder, TVPI, DPI, and so on.

Cardahome also includes benchmarks, so you can compare how your fund is performing against others in the same cohort. Under New Capabilities to Try, you'll find prompt suggestions that you can copy and paste into a Claude chat to discover new things that can be done with the plugin. There's also Plugin News, featuring customer stories and virtual events to help you stay in the know. The last thing in Carta Home is the skill directory, which lists every skill available in the investors plugin, so you never miss a new release.
