Let's look at one of four capital events that leverage distributing capital to LPs.

You can initiate, send, and track wires to LPs in one end to end workflow. Select request distribution from the capital activity screen of your fund on Carta. To send a distribution, you'll authorize the LPs who will receive it. Once the details are set, our team will set up a single lump sum wire in your bank portal for approval.

Instead of managing many outgoing wires, you simply approve one consolidated transfer. An automated money movement then distributes funds to each investor's bank in their respective net amounts, using the wire instructions they input on Carta. Investors get instant confirmations, you'll receive an email when funds are on their way to LPs. In Carta, you can track real time progress with IMAD and OMAD IDs for paid investors.

If an investor's bank details are missing or need confirmation, they're flagged in Carta for easy follow-up before funds are released, and late confirmations appear in your dashboard for easy follow-up and authorization.
