Key takeaways

- LPs self-serve documents, fund details, and wire instructions in one place.
- GPs set which financials show and whether it's real-time or as-of date.
Transcript
This is the LP portal, part of fund administration in Carta's ERP for private capital. Repetitive LP questions and static PDFs can drain GP bandwidth and erode investor trust. This is what your LPs see when they log in to the Carta LP portal. Through one login, they get a single consolidated view of every commitment they hold on Carta, including their positions with other GPs on the platform.
From here, LPs can navigate into individual entities. Each tab shown here can be turned on or off for individual LPs so they can view their SOI, cash notices, and fund performance. Here, we have the documents repository with full cash notice history, going back to fund inception. And here on this tab, we see this fund to fund entities portfolio funds.
Over here, on the capital accounts tab, is an interactive in app view of the LP's PCAP, and on this tab, a full transaction ledger with every contribution, distribution, markup, and operating entry with dates. Wire instructions is where LPs can self serve their bank details, keeping them current for distributions. Over here, you, the GP, get full visibility of all your LPs and set the policies. Per LP, you can turn on or off individual tabs as well as control as update for financials, either shared in real time through a specific date or to not share for now.
And from the moment a new LP comes in through closings, they land here under exactly the policy you've set. That's the Carta LP portal.
