LinkedIn: Build an Insights Function to Beat the Mediocre AI Content Wave

How to build an Insights function and defeat the impending mediocre content boom.

We've all played with generative AI a bit by now. Soon it will start making its way into a lot of content. So how do you stand out?

Biased opinion here, but I think building an Insights function in your marketing team is one way to capture attention in a crowded landscape.

And by Insights, I don't mean customer surveys or feedback. That's great! But it's not the focus today.

Insights means the production of valuable content for your customers based on a proprietary pool of data (likely already sitting in your company databases).

I was lucky enough to sit down with Carl Ferreira and Cassidy Shield recently on their Stacking Growth podcast to chat all things Insights. We covered:

  • How to build an Insights practice from scratch

  • How marketers can up-level their own skillsets with data

  • Why Insights can be as valuable to other internal teams as it is to the wider market

  • Does Carl do any actual selling? Opinions differed. 😂

If you're a marketer interested in turning data your company already has into valuable content for your audiences - hit me up, DMs and comments open.
