Promising - Black founders make up 9% of founders aged 21-30 on Carta.
That's nearly double their share of 41-60 year old founders (just judging on companies started in the last two full years).
One of the best things I get to be involved with here is our annual Carta Equity Summit report, which digs into how equity in startups is distributed by race, ethnicity, gender, and age. And in our most recent report from 2022, there were multiple bright spots like the chart below.
