LinkedIn's new For You, Following, and News feed tabs finally give users more control over their content experience—a long-overdue improvement for creators...

LinkedIn: LinkedIn's New Feed Tabs Change the Content Game

The biggest shift in LinkedIn in years has arrived.

Are you a 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂, a 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴, or a 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 tab LinkedIn person?

Probably overdue given the way X and other platforms treat the feed, but LI just introduced feed options that give more flexibility over the content you spend time with.

It's been a little sad to have the percentage of followers who actually see your content decline over the past few years. Will the introduction of the Following tab help with that? I certainly hope so although I think revealed preference (and defaults) will make For You the biggest attention grabber.

Will this shift mean that impressions and reactions trend more closely together again? Will it mean that more of "your" people see your stuff? Will it have basically no effect?

Interesting times for those creating content. BTW only seeing this on mobile at the moment, maybe the desktop update is lagging.
