Early founders - SAFEs vs Convertible Notes? Here's why I was wrong:

I have been saying SAFEs are dominating the pre-seed space. And they are! 77% of total pre-seed investment is through that instrument.

But that's not true for all sectors. Medical Devices, Hardware, Pharma - these industries are still convertible note focused.

Note that Gaming as been pushed up on the CN side by one major outlier.

Thanks for the push from many of you on this topic. Founders should definitely stay familiar on the convertible note side
