This is portfolio evaluations for venture capital, part of Carta's ERP for private capital. Annual valuations have traditionally been a time consuming and tedious process for firms. Carta's ERP offers a fast and accurate portfolio valuation solution. The investments dashboard is home based for all your investments on Carta.

For investments not on Carta, you can leverage our AI enabled cap table builder to quickly add them so you can run valuations for all your portcos here. Start by clicking on the company you want to value. Let's create a new version of the q three valuation for Evergreen LLC. Evergreen LLC is a Carta company, so its cap table information is prepopulated.

Its financials and KPIs were collected via our data collection tool and automatically centralized here. Using our license, we pull market comps directly from S and P Cap IQ. You can search by ticker or by industry. Equity value can be calculated using a mix of methodologies.

Let's start with public comps. The comps you selected earlier are pulled in here with a full set of data from Cap IQ. Select the multiples you want to use for revenue and EBITDA. Here, equity value is calculated as you tweak the multiples and weighting as inputs.

For transaction comps, search and select transactions from Cap IQ's database. Again, equity value is calculated based on the multiples and weighting of your choice. The overall equity value is calculated based on the mix of methodologies used and the weighting you gave. The equity value of six point one billion is now displayed on the top.

Now we'll calculate your share of the proceeds. The most commonly used methodology is waterfall. Using a proprietary coding language, rWaterfall can handle complex breakpoints with MIUs and PIUs at different participation thresholds. You can export the results in PDF or Excel.

CartaFund admin customers can seamlessly update SOI and create a journal entry by clicking finalize. Only Carta ERP has connected data that flows automatically from cap table, valuation, and waterfall to fund accounting, making streamlined workflow possible.
